Grid & Grid Trimless AR70 / MR16 Firehood

Downlighters, if not safely protected, can become a fire hazard as the hole cut in the ceiling to accommodate them compromises its fire resistance. Current building and wiring regulations have meant firehoods have become a necessity. Not only does a Grid & Grid Trimless AR70/MR16 Firehood seal to stop fire penetration into the ceiling void left by fittings for up to one hour, but in normal use also offer ventilation to prevent the light fitting from overheating.

Please note that this firehood has been especially designed for use with a Grid/Grid Trimless Single Downlighter (MR16 and AR70 types) shown on the right. Fire protection cannot be guaranteed if used with other products.
