Recessed, surface, suspended, corner, shadow gap and more — aluminium channels that protect your LED tape and deliver a clean, professional finish in any space.
LED tape on its own looks unfinished. Aluminium profiles transform bare tape into a polished, architectural lighting feature — protecting the LEDs, eliminating hotspots, and dissipating heat to extend lifespan.
Everything you need to know about choosing the right aluminium extrusion for your LED tape installation.
Installed before plastering, these channels are skimmed over so only the diffuser aperture is visible. The result is a seamless, frameless line of light that appears integral to the ceiling or wall — popular in high-specification residential interiors.
Router or cut a channel into the surface, drop the profile in flush, and cover with a diffuser. Gives a tidier result than surface-mounted without the full commitment of plaster-in. Suitable for timber, MDF, and plasterboard.
The most versatile and easiest to install — screwed or adhesive-fixed directly to any surface. Available in flat, angled, and wide formats. Ideal for under-cabinet, shelf edge, and cove lighting where routing isn't possible.
Hung from wire or rod fixings below the ceiling, suspended profiles create a pendant-style linear light. Popular in offices, kitchens, and dining areas where a dramatic floating light effect is desired.
Angled at 45° or 90°, corner profiles fit into the junction of two surfaces — perfect for under-shelf lighting, cabinet interiors, and ceiling-to-wall angles where a standard flat profile won't sit correctly.
Fitted at the wall-to-ceiling or wall-to-floor junction, shadow gap profiles create an architectural reveal with LED light glowing from within. A contemporary alternative to coving that makes ceilings appear to float.
Decorative profiles that replace or augment traditional coving, housing LED tape to create an upward wash of ambient light. Available in plaster and aluminium versions to suit both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Available in clear, frosted, and opal finishes. Clear maximises brightness with slight dot visibility. Frosted balances brightness and diffusion. Opal gives the smoothest, most even output — best for close viewing distances.
Aluminium conducts heat away from the LED chips. Running LED tape without a profile raises junction temperature and reduces lifespan. High-density tape (above 14.4W/m) should always be used in a profile.
Aluminium profiles can be cut with a fine-tooth mitre saw or hacksaw. End caps, joiners, and suspension kits are available for all our profile ranges. Contact us if you need help specifying accessories.
Our bathroom and outdoor profiles are specified for moisture-resistant use. Always pair with correctly IP-rated LED tape — IP65 for splash zones, IP67/68 for full immersion or in-ground applications.
Step-edge and riser profiles provide low-level illumination on staircases, improving safety and creating a dramatic feature. Available in recessed and surface formats, often paired with PIR sensors for automatic activation.
