Which insert?
The insert is the visible part of the fitting and sets the IP rating. Wall washer ships with a built-in asymmetric optic and takes the 15° lens, so it skips the beam question.

White or black?
The Rigel 50 is adjustable only, and is the one base sold in two trimless finishes. The finish runs through the frame and the insert.

7W or 9W?
Higher wattage gives more lumens but needs a deeper ceiling void. Both share the same aperture, so you can mix them across a scheme without it showing.

Which colour temperature?
Both are CRI 90+ and built from the same components — pick whichever suits the space.

Which beam angle?
The lens clicks in and out, so this is not a permanent decision — narrow for accent, wider for general illumination.
Final step
How do you want to dim it?
Both are 10W constant-current drivers, one per fitting. Triac dims with most retrofit wall dimmers; DALI-2 is for commercial smart-control systems.
