The Ei100MRF is an optional add-on for the Ei160e and Ei2110e Series alarms. The module simply plugs into the designated slot in the alarm head. The immediate flashing LED indicates that the module has been fitted correctly.
The Ei100MRF Module Facilitates wireless interconnection with up to 12 devices. It also facilitates a hybrid communication of hardwired and wireless connections.
The Ei100MRF module is a SRD using aTI transceiver device to transmit, receive and repeat the RF protocal. This ensures a robust 'mesh' of RF signals and reliable paths of communication.
The housing coding feature confines the RF communication to designated RF devices only. Thereby avoiding inadvertent activation of neighbouring RF systems.
The Reomote Alarm Learn entry feature allows hte installeer to reactivate the entire RF system house code from one device. Additional devices can then be added and house coded accordingly.
RF monitoring of the signal paths is facilitated through a "buddy" system. Each device will "buddy up" to at least one other device. If the signal path fails, the "buddy" will transmit a communication lost signal. Information such as alarm events, fault events, test activations and alarm head removals can now be downloaded using the RF tool (EiUSB1).
The Module is designed to be completely enclosed within the alarm unit and no visible parts including the antenna will be shown.
