The innovative CeilingStar 5 (CS5) can be used in residential and commercial new builds, refurbishments or retrofit. The CeilingStar5-NIC is an energy efficient and zero maintenance light fitting a superior replacement for MR16 and GU10 ceiling down lighters or incandescent downlighters. All the thermal management of the CS5-NIC is at the back of the product so can only be used with non-insulated ceilings (NIC) like the regular recessed downlighters it replaces.
It conforms to EU 'A' energy rating and UK building regulations Part L1&2. Dimmable versions of the PSU are also available. This generation two CeilingStar 5 offers more than 55 Luminaire Lumens per circuit Watt for the 7W unit (7 LEDs).
With a projected life in excess of 25 years (6 hours a day use), these light fittings will make changing light bulbs a thing of the past. The CeilingStar 5 is constructed of materials that are designed for long life including a glass diffuser. In addition, it contains the most efficient, ultra bright, long life LEDs available to-day.

How to dim your CeilingStar 5s
The Recessed CeilingStar 5 can be dimmed using our Wise Controls system. Using our Wise Chameleon Dimming Pack (WISERGB 700mA M) allows you to dim up to 6 of these fittings using a wireless wallswitch or remote control. A 24V power supply with a maximum load of 45W is also required in order to make the dimming of the LEDs possible. If more than 6 of these fittings are required, a slave pack (WISERGB 700mA SL) needs to be purchased, which can control a further 6 CeilingStar 5s. If more fittings need to be dimmed, simply add more slave packs.
The final part to complete the dimming system is a 1 button switch or remote control. All of these components are located on the 'accessory' list on the right hand side of this page.
