The Tape RGB Light is a flexible light source used to illuminate under cupboards, cabinets, shelves, anything which does not have much available space.
Popular amongst residential and commercial applications alike, this 24V colour changing strip is the perfect solution to mood lighting problems in clubs, shops, pubs, restaurants, bars. Due to the tape lights flexibility, it is also the perfect lighting solution to create a uniform, even light around curved surfaces such as columns.
Warning: The warm white produced by RGB products is not the same as the warm white produced by single coloured products. By mixing the colours to create warm white a hint of Red, Green, or Blue may appear. Individual LED's on tapelight can vary in colour. Please connect tapes before installation to test LED colours are the same. We are happy to exchange tapes with colour difference if they have not been installed. Tape which has been installed (i.e stuck down) cannot be returned.
Controlling the Tape RGB
The Tape RGB is controlled wirelessly using our Wise Chameleon Colour Changing Controller. A maximum load of 180W can be controlled by the Chameleon pack before a Chameleon Slave would need to be added, which can also control an extra 180W of tapelight.
Due to voltage drops, the Tape Light can only be connected in a maximum of 10 strips before a second, separate line of 10 strips would have to be used.
The best way to display RGB products is on a white surface. When projected onto different coloured surfaces and materials the colours can vary.
Extrusions
The Tapelight can be housed into an extrusion which allows installation to be a much smoother experience. These extrusions also stop dust and other foreign objects from being able to interfere with the electrical components inside, as well as give the light a much more diffused look. Deep, shallow, corner, and even MDF extrusions are available to cater for practically any installation.
Simply order the same amount (in meters) of extrusions and diffusers as you have tapelight, then purchase 1 endcap and 1 powerend.
Other things to remember...
Every tape is 1000mm and can be connected to another strip via pins. Up to 10 strips can be connected together. Each strip can be cut every 165mm.
Even though the Tape Light is flexible, there is still a strong possibility of over bending it and damaging the product.
