LED Ropelight has many benefits over standard ropelight. The advantages include 50,000 hours life, a bright and sharp light source and low power consumption with virtually no heat. This means that it can safely be rebated instead of being surface mounted.
LED Ropelight has high visibility, making it ideal for use on buildings, signs and gardens. It also gives a subtle glow of light that is ideal for mounting into shelves, under cabinets and coving.
This fitting has a waterproof rating of IP44 only when both ends are sealed. This can be achieved by using strong special waterproof glue or silicon. It is attached to a power connector lead at one end and a end cap or coupler is fitted at the other end.
Please note that LED Ropelight can only be cut on the unit length. The maximum continuous length that can be cut is 90m. The price quoted is per unit length.
The wattage that is shown for the LED Ropelight is per meter, not per cut length. I.E: Red LED Ropelight is 1.44W per meter.
The cut length is how much ropelight you will receive for the price shown.
