Torodial One Way / AC - DC Convertor 24V

The ALV050 24V with Convertor is a coil tranformer which is fully dimmable using transformer rated or inductive dimmers.

The AC-DC Convertor changes resistance from AC to DC. This allows LEDs to be run off AC transformers, usually meaning a higher load can be adhered to.

The transformer is toroidally wound with separate secondary windings thus giving each lamp its own fused output.

All transformers are fitted with self resetting bi-metallic thermal cut-outs to stop the mains supply if the temperature of the windings reaches 130°C. Input and output connections are via cables or terminal blocks. For safety, all transformers are encapsulated inside flame retardant housings using epoxy resin.

Compact sizes, low weights and well laid out wiring decks aid easy installation.
